MealScope is a wellness app that helps you understand what's in your food. This policy explains what data we handle, in plain language.
When you scan a meal, the photo is sent to Google's AI service (Gemini) to analyze what's in the picture. We do not store your photos. They are used for the analysis and then discarded. Google processes the image under Google's Privacy Policy.
Everything you log — meals, activities, goals, streaks — is stored only on your own device (in your browser's local storage). We don't have accounts yet, so we never see, transmit, or store this data on our servers.
If you join the launch waitlist, your email address is currently stored only on your device. When we add real accounts, we'll ask you to confirm before moving it anywhere.
